Shishimaru vs Asuma

[Shishimaru Kusarugi]

Shishimaru walks toward the sparring arena remembering he had a spar today with another captain. He was interested to test this captain's strength since,being in squad 7, they would work closely together on missions. He got to the sparring arena and saw that his opponent wasn't here yet so he took a seat under a tall tree and closed his eyes. It appeared that he was sleeping but he was actually thinking of a battle strategy.

[Asuma]

*Asuma walks forward slowly, his eyes seemingly reading a file on of one his latest case. The Yamamoto's were causing the usual trouble. They were trafficking weapons in and out of the Rukon and Asuma knew the main buyers were the smaller gangs but his mind wasnt on that at the moment. His mind was lingering on the battle at hand. He was considering his opponents weaknesses, which was difficult due to the fact they had never sparred in the past. He Closes the file and strips on his cloak and captains robe and lays them on the floor. He tosses the file on top of them and looks over to Shishi*

"Ready to start?"

[Shishimaru Kusarugi]

Shishimaru opens his eyes and stands up. "Yeah i'm ready." Shishimaru says. "I'll start if you don't mind." Shishimaru says with a grin. Not even bothering to wait for a answer he pulls out his zanpaktou and quickly runs toward Asuma. He attempts to gauge his strength by throwing a simple slash to the chest at him.

[Asuma]

*Asuma side steps lazily and slaps the blade away gently. He wags his finger jokingly before backing up several paces. He draws his zanpaktou off his back, sheath and all. He draws the blade with his right and holds the sheath with his left. Asuma spins quickly and throws the sheath. After a split second he dashes forward and lunges, aiming a stab at Shishi's chest whle the sheath sails towards his face*

[Shishimaru Kusarugi]

Shishimaru ducks making the sheath and the stab go over his head. He then yawns and says "Is that all you've got?" He then tries to sweep kick Asuma while at the same time trying to slash across Asuma's chest with his zanpaktou. "Lets see you side step that." Shishimaru says as he makes his attack.

[Asuma]

*Before the leg sweep connects Asuma allow himself to fall backward, spinning to the left and aiming a strong kick at the ribs of shishi. He stabs his blade into the ground and supports himself to keep from falling*

[Shishimaru Kusarugi]

Shishimaru quickly rolls to the left to dodge the attack. He then jumps in the air and to land a flying kick on Asuma. "Ok i'll admit that was a pretty good move." Shishimaru says with a grin. "But i wanna see you come out of this one with out a scratch on you." Shishimaru says as he attempts to connect the kick.

[Asuma]

"Asuma uses the velocity of his original kick to spin and slide himself along the ground. He hears Shi land just behind his head. He quickly stands and rushes toward Shi aiming a spear at his chest*

[Shishimaru Kusarugi]

Shishimaru quickly spins to the left just avoiding Asuma's spear. He then flash steps over toward Asuma and throws an uppercut to his chin with his right hand. With his left hand he uses his sword to try to stab through Asuma's stomach. "Your not half bad." Shishimaru says with smirk.

[Asuma]

*Asuma takes the punch. His mouth begins to bleed slightly but otherwise Asuma remains unhurt. As the blade closes into his stomach Asuma grabs Shi's arm stopping the blade just before it touched. Asuma spins outward, spinning Shi with him and pulling his arm over his shoulder. Asuma then pulls down his arm, the elbow cap directly oveer his shoulder*

[Shishimaru Kusarugi]

Shishimaru's right arm cracks and it is fractured in 2 places. "Aghhh!" He yells from the pain. He then, with his left hand, Holds it in front of Asuma and Shouts "Hadou Number 4: White Lightning!" He shoots a big blast of kidou in the form of lightning straight at Asuma. He then holds his right arm in pain.

Hadou 4: White Lightning
A powerful attack that uses Kidou in the form of lighting.
